The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

“Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small   unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.
[...] Many were increasingly of the opinion that they’d all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that even the trees had been a bad move, and that no one should ever have left the oceans.
And then, one Thursday, nearly two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change, one girl sitting on her own in a small cafe in Rickmansworth suddenly realized what it was that had been going wrong all this time, and she finally knew how the world could be made a good and happy place. This time it was right, it would work, and no one would have to get nailed to anything.
Sadly, however, before she could get to a phone to tell anyone about it, a terribly stupid catastrophe occurred, and the idea was lost forever. This is not her story.

But it is the story of that terrible stupid catastrophe and some of its consequences… “

That’s how the story begins.This book I’m reading,is not just an ironic,hilarous,absurd one… if you pay attention on it,you’ll understand that ironic,hilarous,absurd = truth,depth.

I recomand it to everybody.

Do you want some potato chips?

“Like when you’ve split up with someone, and you try to communicate the way you feel, because you need to say the words, need to feel that someone understands just how pissed off and frightened you feel. The problem is, they never do. “Plenty more fish in the sea”, they’ll say, or “You’re better off without them”, or “Do you want some of this potato chips?” They never really understand because they haven´t been there, every day, every hour. They don’t know how things have been, the way that it’s made you, the way it has structured your world. They’ll never realize that someone who makes you feel bad may be the person you need most in the world. They don’t understand the history, the background, don’t know the pillars of memories that hold you up. Ultimately they don’t know you well enough, and they never can. Everyone’s alone in their world, because everybody’s life is different. You can send people letters, and show them photos, but they can never come to visit where you live.

Unless you love them. And then they can burn it down.”

Time ago,my mother told me a story… the story… my story : how did I come into this world,my birth.
It was complicated,I didn’t breathe,I didn’t cry… I almost died.
And sometimes I think about it.I think about… how my life would have been without me?
