Time ago,my mother told me a story… the story… my story : how did I come into this world,my birth.
It was complicated,I didn’t breathe,I didn’t cry… I almost died.
And sometimes I think about it.I think about… how my life would have been without me?
“how my life would have been without me.” that is so poignant. and heartbreaking. there is this theory that says our bodies remember. they have memory and our skin is the witness. even when we can’t speak. see. or think. and the the painful “memories” leave us scarred, even if we may not be consciously aware of them.
you’re a survivor ada. you’ve survived your complicated birth, and you will continue to survive in life.
