Do you want some potato chips?

“Like when you’ve split up with someone, and you try to communicate the way you feel, because you need to say the words, need to feel that someone understands just how pissed off and frightened you feel. The problem is, they never do. “Plenty more fish in the sea”, they’ll say, or “You’re better off without them”, or “Do you want some of this potato chips?” They never really understand because they haven´t been there, every day, every hour. They don’t know how things have been, the way that it’s made you, the way it has structured your world. They’ll never realize that someone who makes you feel bad may be the person you need most in the world. They don’t understand the history, the background, don’t know the pillars of memories that hold you up. Ultimately they don’t know you well enough, and they never can. Everyone’s alone in their world, because everybody’s life is different. You can send people letters, and show them photos, but they can never come to visit where you live.

Unless you love them. And then they can burn it down.”

  1. I get your point dear.It really gets into my nerves to face such a thing , for that reason I have stopped discussing or telling anything to people that I’m sure won’t get my point!

  2. The point is that as they don’t understand you,you don’t understand’em.
    It’s like that.
“Put yourself in my shoes!” – what a fuckin’ expression is this?
You can NEVER put yourself in someone else’s shoes, this is impossible.
Ok,you can do it,but everytime you’ll think, you’ll make decision with YOUR OWN brain, that’s it.
The best you can do,is TRY to understand…
We are not part of the World : the World is part of each other one’s of us.
Wich means that the “WORLD” doesn’t exist as “WORLD”.It exist as “WorLD” , “wOrLd” , “WORld” etc, etc.
Things are too relatives to be absolutes!
